Privacy.

We collect what we need to run the site, nothing more. This page is the plain-language version. If anything is unclear, email us at newburghplaygrounds@gmail.com and we will explain.

What we collect

  • Email and optional first name when you sign up for updates.
  • Survey answers when you take a survey. Demographics in surveys are optional.
  • Issue reports, including optional photos and optional contact info.
  • Event RSVPs and playgroup signups when you choose to attend or join.
  • An IP-derived country code (no IP address) and a device kind (mobile / desktop / tablet) for spam prevention.

What we do not collect

  • No Google Analytics. No Facebook pixel. No third-party advertising tags.
  • No cross-site tracking.
  • No precise location, ever.

How long we keep it

Signup records: until you unsubscribe. Survey responses: indefinitely, anonymized after 24 months unless you have explicitly asked us to keep your contact attached. Issue reports: until resolved, then archived for citywide reporting. Event RSVPs: 90 days after the event.

How to request deletion

Email newburghplaygrounds@gmail.com with the email address you used. We delete your records within 14 days and write back to confirm.
