A community-driven initiative to create an inclusive playground where every Newburgh child can play, learn, and grow together.
The Newburgh Plays initiative aims to secure up to $2.5 million in funding through the NY PLAYS grant program to build a state-of-the-art inclusive playground in the City of Newburgh.
This playground will serve as a beacon of inclusive play, designed to accommodate children of all abilities, ages 2-12. Our vision is to create a space where children with disabilities can play alongside their peers, fostering friendship, inclusion, and community connection.
