Round two at City Hall.
Three weeks before the NY PLAYS application deadline. Council needs to keep hearing the same message, in the same room, from the same families. We want a playground at Delano-Hitch. We want the City to invest in Newburgh's playgrounds, period.
What this meeting is about
Keep the pressure on.
The grant application deadline is June 15, 2026. Before Newburgh can submit, the City needs to lock in the local match and formally authorize the application. Public comment between now and then is how the Council reads the room.
Show up. Speak for two minutes. Even if you said the same thing on May 11, say it again. A pattern of full Council chambers, week after week, is what moves a project from "maybe" to "priority."
